Your First Visit

Plan your visit.

Whatever brought you to this page, we are glad. Here is what to expect when you walk in.

SUN 9:00 AMWED 5:00 PMFRI 6:00 PM
Welcome

Walk in. We will look after you.

The moment you arrive on a Sunday, an usher will meet you at the door and lead you to a seat. TLLC is a participatory gathering, not a service you sit through from the outside. We sing together, we pray together, we open the Word together. Pastor may call on you, recognise you, encourage you. That is by design. We love engagement.

Come with your Bible and your writing materials. If you do not have a Bible, we will gladly give you one. We do not use phones or tablets for the Word in our gatherings. Honour the Book by holding the Book.

What to Expect

Your questions, answered.

The things most first-time visitors want to know before they walk through the door.

1When should I arrive?
Come around 8:50am. That gives you ten minutes to find parking, get up to the second floor, settle in, and meet whoever happens to greet you at the door. Service starts at 9:00am sharp and usually runs until around 12 noon.
2What should I wear?
Dressing at TLLC is deliberate and honouring. Most members come in neat, well-presented attire, modest and reverent for the gathering of the saints. You do not need expensive clothes, just a heart to honour the Lord and the moment.
3Should I expect to be called on?
Possibly, and that is a good thing. Pastor Taiwo loves engagement, so he may call your name, ask you a question, or invite you to read a passage aloud. This is not to put you on the spot, it is to welcome you into the conversation. Come ready to participate fully in worship, in prayer, and in the Word.
4What about my kids?
Children are warmly welcomed at TLLC. Our gathering is a place for the whole family. [Children’s ministry details to be confirmed with Pastor Taiwo.]
5What happens during the service?
We open in worship and song, move into prayer and the Word, hear a teaching from Pastor Taiwo or whoever is leading that week, take an offering, pray for needs, and close. The Spirit often interrupts the plan, and we welcome that.
6What should I bring?
Bring your Bible, your notebook, and a pen. If you do not have a Bible, we will gladly give you one when you arrive. We do not use phones or tablets for the Word in our gatherings; please leave the digital Bible apps for personal study. Any printed translation is welcome (KJV, NKJV, AMP, ESV, NLT).
7What if I have a prayer request?
We pray for people. After the service, if you have a need, for healing, for family, for direction, for breakthrough, come and tell one of our pastors or send a prayer request through the website. Prayer is not extra at TLLC. It is the work.
